The Mindfulness Center offers one-on-one intensive training in stress reduction techniques. Helpful in treating anxiety and other stress-related disorders, you will learn stress management techniques, relieve tension, and gain a feeling of control over the causes of stress. As a positive influence, stress can help compel us to action; it can result in a new awareness and an exciting new perspective. As a negative influence, it can result in feelings of loss of control. The negative influence of stress can lead to health problems. With knowledge of a range of stress management techniques and other lifestyle skills, you can develop a personalized approach to managing stress in your life and gaining control. Dr. Norris has taught stress management programs to individuals, groups, corporate wellness programs, government agencies and numerous public and private school systems.
